The original PC games were card battle games that veered sharply into hentai territory, but although everyone in SWA wrestles in a high-cut leotard, it doesnt really feature anything more extreme than lots of wedgies. Instead, SWA is all about managing a joshi promotion via a minimalist menu interface thats straight out of a Koei game. In the games main mode, you name your company and select a game length and difficulty setting, then pick three rival companies from a total of eightAoi Joshi Pro, Empire Joshi Pro, Japanese Ocean Pro, JWI, NJWPW, Pacific Joshi Pro, PLUM and WARSeach with their own areas of influence, roster and pool of Action Points (AP). Your goal is to build your fanbase and become the number one company in the country at the end of the span of time youve selected. First, in order to launch your promotion and start running shows, you need to build a roster. You do so by signing freelancers, who are talented and famous but cost a lot, or by scouting rookies, who come dirt cheap but are weak and unknown. Later on, you can try to raid your rivals and hire away their unhappy talent, but theyll try to do the same thing to you, which can be a major blow if you lose a top star. In addition, you can sign a talent-sharing agreement with one of five North American promotions to bring in their wrestlers, with some amusing gender-swapped names like Beautiful Jody Beaton from the GWA and Dusty Rhola from the WWCA. Foreign imports are powerful and famous, but maintaining an agreement is very expensive from month to month and these promotions could decide to sign a new deal with one of your rivals at any time, so you cant rely on imports too much. Signing an agreement also lets you send your wrestlers on excursion to that promotion for training. Final Fire Pro Wrestling English Patch Upgrade Their StatsWrestlers have to win matches against more popular wrestlers to increase their own popularity, so you have to upgrade their stats and give them new moves to improve their chances. Every wrestler has attackdefense stats and moves in five categoriessuplexes, submissions, strikes, high-flying attacks and miscellaneous maneuvers like taunts or illegal weaponsin addition to parameters for strength, recovery, stamina, speed and endurance. Upgrading the gym equipment allows you to conduct more training sessions each month, and you can spend extra AP on one wrestler a month for special training. Wrestlers also have morale and trust ratings that constantly degrade. A wrestler who doesnt trust you might accept a contract offer with a rival, or a happy rookie might lose morale and refuse to train for a month because she had her heart broken (it is an anime game, after all). Once you recruit six wrestlers and end your turn, you have to organize your first tour. You can run up to eight shows per tour in any prefecture in the country. Every prefecture has several real venues of varying sizes, from Korakuen Hall to the Tokyo Dome.
